Getting beat up on my TVIX trade - now short 1000 shares at $41.50. The trade has been signaled by no less than 5 of the 10 filters comprising my TVIX system, which has had a stellar record over the past 5 years. The complicating factor is that VIX futures are in backwardation (actually at a high level) and this needs to be worked through before this trade sees any green.
No further adding to this position - I'll wait this one out as long as needed.

Limit orders for this morning:
STO 500 shares of DUST at $26.50
STO 1000 shares of ERY at $12.25
My TVIX trade has resolved itself nicely - will hold this one for a bit and see where it goes.

Currently no shares of DUST to short - it hit my limit order target but was not filled.
Adjusted my limit order on ERY down to $12.00 since it does not look like it will run up in early trading.

STO 1000 shares of JDST at $16.00.
Still not able to get any shares to short DUST. A good thing since it is moving up fairly fast. I have increased my order size to 1000 shares and the new limit price of $27.50.

BTC 1000 shares of TVIX at $40.50 for a gain of $989 after commissions. This trade was risky since it was taken during a period of backwardation in the VIX futures. I feel there is more profit to be made shorting it, but am satisfied with the profit I made. Will reconsider shorting it if it goes above $43 and the futures are in contango.
