Sorry, but I think otherwise. No doubt, Google is getting hammered in the extended hours and there's still the jobs number that ominously hangs over the market for tomorrow, but the daily chart for both the Dow and the S&P looks rather bullish. I would be very cautious about shorting this market outright. If you are, be very nimble.

I got out of GLD eons ago with a decent profit. But I ain't too sure about shorting the damn thing here. It's still above the trendline and the Keltner/Bollinger bands look pretty bullish. I'm also thinking that it just might put in a double-top pattern within the next few days. I would short near the top with a tight stop.
BTW, line chart sucks! LOL

GLD....gapped down this morning and heading towards 86.56....will cover and play the bounce long.

I'm more convinced that it will head back up to it's previous high now that it gapped down. IMHO
