Covered @ 1362.25
Wanted to ride down to 1361.25 but didn't want to give back the profit again

No, I advise against pulling the trigger. On the contrary, I would short this stock once it retraces back up to 68-ish.
Cheers!

Took an initial bite late today of SKF @100.24 and TWM @ 81.74
Prolly jumping the gun here but this is a stong 6 day rally and I'm betting no upside surprises tommorrow. ( Yahoo's a drag on the tech side)
Cynic, but I'm thinking that the expected (70% ?) .5 cut will be sold. A .25% cut ? Forgettaboutit !

You have my vote of confidence. I too am ready to make the full plunge tomorrow. Whether it's 25 or 50 bps, I think the market will sell off all the same. The most likely scenario would be that it will initially spike up following the announcement but it would eventually fizzle and reverse course. For the $SPX, the sell short zone lies between 1375-1385. While it could technically shoot up to 1406, considering that most of the rate cut has already been priced in I highly doubt such a move.

Well, good for you. As I stated earlier, I would be more comfortable shorting this stock at 68 than going long at this point in time. I see that the HOD registered at 68.20.
Just my otherwise useless 2-cents (as usual).

If Bernanke does indeed hand the market a 50 basis point cut, will the dude be remembered as the saving grace or just another pimp-daddy of the stock market? Will he run the same gamut of "Greenspan's Legacy: Un-Surprising Surprise Cuts, Episode 2" where he will exceed the record, which stands at 1% set by his predecessor, by taking it all the way down to zero, zilch, nada?
