I use Scottrade high of day list(hod),market movers it's called on Scott.I trade in Muddys chat,thats what a bunch of us use

Thank you! HOD....simple but powerfull tool, isn't it!
I mainly do SWING since I have day job.
I am using Scottrade, too, but looking for opning acount with Interactive Broker to play some semi-auto trade.
You did great for such a tough day!

13th_floor, I used IB for a few years, quit trading for a year and just got back in again 2 months ago. That was the first time I have seen IB go down.
Sounds like you're having fun. GL in 2008.

I use Scott for the scrolling hod list and have recently opened a daytrading account at IB.
I love the commissions and the fact most stocks under $5 are shortable.

NVD closed at .51after hitting hod of .53
In from .40 and did hold this overnight looking for somewhat of an open gap.
Will sell on any sign of weakness
