Trout:
I am also waiting on GOOG. I will wait and see if it could hold ema(100) and ema(34) before entering.

NEW::: First Wind Energy ETF - ''FAN''
From time to time I'll grab a somewhat speculative play for my Position/Core account. Helps keep the boring part of the game interesting. I liked the story on this one, along with IPO, pullback to consolidation just the way I like it.
Also, when ahead and took profits on FRO for a day trade. Didn't want to risk a Gap Down tomorrow. This way if it does it may produce a new buy... Nice and safe...

AAPL... safer to wait until tomorrow and see where it opens below or above ema(34).

Does ema(34) treat you well Jp, and if so, why may I ask?

GOOG couldn't hold ema(100) not a good sign...be careful with this.

Rtucker: my observation of the ema(34) is that stocks I trade tend to bounce of it, take a look for yourself. I don't trade stocks below ema(100). I like to see the ema(34) above ema(100) and close above ema(34) or at least highs above ema(34).

Trendsurfer:
I too like the wind plays. I am holding off on this ETF though as a lot of these large foreign wind plays are sporting rather high valuations. If it falls to 25 or so they valuation will be in line.
The wind plays in Europe have been around a lot longer than in North America. Most of the stocks in the FAN index are available on the Pink sheet here. I pulled up a few charts and they look extended. Best to you.
