9/4/2012 4:24:55 PM THANK YOU AMERICA ! Dear American Taxpayer For only the second time in my adult life, I am not ashamed of my country. I want to thank the hard working American people for paying $242 thousand dollars for my vacation in Spain. My daughter Sasha, several long-time family friends, my personal staff and various guests had a wonderful time. Sasha also had a great time in Mexico on Spring break with thirteen of her friends and secret service protection. Thanks so much. Honestly, you just haven't lived until you have stayed in a $2,500.00 per night private 3-story villa at a 5-Star luxury hotel. Thank you also for the use of Air Force Two and the 70 Secret Service personnel who tagged along to be sure we were safe and cared for at all times. By the way, if you happen to be visiting the Costa del Sol, I highly recommend the Buenaventura Plaza restaurant in Marbella, great lobster with rice and oysters! I'm ashamed to admit the lobsters we ate in Martha's Vineyard were not quite as tasty, but what can you do if you're not in Europe? You have to just grin and bear it. Air Force Two (which costs $11,351 per hour to operate according to Government Accounting Office reports) only used 47,500 gallons of jet fuel for this trip and carbon emissions were a mere 1,031 tons of CO2. These are only rough estimates, but they are close. That's quite a carbon footprint as my good friend Al Gore would say, so we must ask the American citizens to drive smaller, more fuel efficient cars and drive less too, so we can lessen our combined carbon footprint. I know times are hard and millions of you are struggling to put food on the table and trying to make ends meet. So I do appreciate your sacrifices and do hope you find work soon. I was really exhausted after Barack took our family on a luxury vacation in Maine a fe w weeks ago. I just had to get away for a few days. Cordially, Michelle (Moochelle) Obama PP.P.S. Thank you, too, for that vacation trip to Martha's Vineyard; it was fabulous. And thanks for that second smaller jet that took our dog Bo to Martha's Vineyard so we and the children could have him with us while we were away from the White House for eleven days. After all, we couldn't take him on Air Force One because he might pee on some wires or something. P.P.P.S Oh, I almost forgot to say thanks also for our two-week trip to Hawaii at Christmas. That 7,000 square foot house was great! P.P.P.P.S. don't forget my ski trip to Vail this winter and now the girls and I are in Africa with my mom. All this while Barack golf’s and campaigns to keep my trips coming for the next 4 years ! Love Ya! Remember, we all have to share the pain of these economic times equally! Love to -redistribute- share- the wealth. SEND THIS TO EVERY AMERICAN NOW .... STAND UP, SPEAK UP. |

He will do as much damage as GW did for 8 years. Be careful what you wish for... =================================================================================== I wonder how a Romney presidency would affect the stock market. We already know what an Obama presidency did for the DOW. Congrats to all who bought AAPL "at the bottom" and HELD this long. That's called "faith". LOL! |

9/9/2012 12:17:14 PM After Obama was elected, one of my co-workers commented on how proud she was. I asked her what she was so proud about and her response was that there was finally a black president and she had helped vote him into office. I asked what she like about his politics and what exactly was the draw for her to vote for him. Her response...."because he's black". I was speechless to say the least. After I regained my composure I replied with a question. I asked her.. so you voted for the most powerful man in the world and you did it based on the color of his skin!! What a nauseating thought. Today, three and a half years later, six trillion dollars deeper in debt, and jobless rates at levels that are mind boggling, we still have people that want to support Obama. What about the future of our country. Are we going to put this man back in office based on the color of his skin? What about the real questions based on his performance? Are we better off today than 4 years ago? If you ask yourself this question and answer honestly, you have to say no. I had this discussion with my wife recently and I explained to her that I couldn't understand how people could vote for Obama for a second term if they really were in touch with reality. Having been shown and watched the failures under Obama what is the draw....unless its just race? I can kind of understand support the first time around ( fresh ideas, bringing the country together, etc, etc.) but not now. Everyone makes mistakes. But to make the same mistake twice even after being shown how it was a mistake the first time, well .....they have names for these types of people! With so many failures and the country so divided at the hands of this man, who could support him? My wife answered the question and then a light bulb came on. She said the supporters are people who THINK they are better off. These are the people that wait for the mailman to run every month. All the people that are on the government dole under this president. The people that have been placed on the government payrolls because of failed Obama policies. These folks have no incentive to work. Why work when you can draw a check for not working. The sad part is it is encouraged by this administration. For every person placed on the government dole thats a vote for Obama. Sadly, this is not how this country was built and it is not a sustainable strategy. The most powerful country in the world is going down the proverbial drain. Our economy can not succeed without people working. This presidents policies are hostile toward the job creators and businesses. Businesses can not and will not create jobs until there is a path of success to travel, not the path put in place under Obama where there is no assurances of anything except government obstruction and intrusion. For all you folks that still want to vote based on skin color, lets go back a few years to another black man that we all hold in high esteem. Dr. Martin Luther King said he had a dream........ Remember what his dream was? To sum it up he said that it was his dream that one day everyone will not be judged by the color of their skin but of the content of their character. You happy with Obama's character? Obama talks a good game but hasn't delivered anything but pain and hardship. Stop being played people. He's making a fool of you. So folks, think long and hard about your future, your kid's future and this country's future when you go to the voting booth. Hopefully, we have learned from the last mistake! |

9/9/2012 4:56:15 PM Cry – copy and paste. Cry, Cry some more– copy and paste. Cry, Cry, Cry a whole bunch more – copy and paste. Is that all you Mitt Rodney lovers can do ? Thanks to that guy from Kenya, all Americans ( even those bawl babies who think the right is right ) are a lot better off than when the Republican brain trust put this country in a nose dive. The Republicans are becoming famous for putting their party first before the good of the country ! The country that they only pretend to love so much. The Republicans in congress that just say No, to everything should be flushed totally. It makes me puke to hear millionaires cry and complain about how awful things are. Sort of like professional kid game players on strike for more millions. I’m waiting for Mitt Rodney’s new campaign promise “ Tax Blocker’s for Everyone “. |

9/9/2012 6:43:41 PM Ignorance is bliss. Quit drinking the kool-aid. Do your own research and then make an intelligent decision. Stop listening to the media. Common sense is at a premium. Anyone with any common sense will tell you 4 years later and 6 trillion dollars deeper in debt that we are NOT better off!!! |

9/10/2012 1:20:25 PM It’s like I said earlier “ Cry – copy and paste “ is all you Mitt Rodney lovers can do. Never an original thought, all you ever get is ; Quit drinking the kool-aid, stop listening to the media, ignorance is bliss, and Republiconns are the only ones with any common sense . Six trillion dollars deeper in debt – yep ! That’s the price you pay when Bush and the Republican brain trust decided to tank the economy and start looking for weapons of mass destruction. Do your own research and then make an intelligent decision – Vote for the President Barack Obama and his pal Joey. |

9/10/2012 7:08:40 PM Curtis..... you are right. You vote your beliefs and your convictions. Nobody is gonna try to change your mind. Thats what makes this country so great, the ability to agree to disagree. Many have paid the untimate price for folks like you to believe what you want, say what you want, and hear only what you want to hear. |

9/10/2012 8:56:28 PM People that disagree with other people often say the same thing “ Many have paid the ultimate price for folks like you etc. etc. “ And like you they never apply it to themselves. By the way you misspelled the word ultimate. Because I’m not voting the same as you I hope you aren’t questioning my loyalty to the good old USA. I vote and you vote – I care and you care. We are in this thing together, who ever gets elected I just hope they care. daybuck, I truly hope you have had a good year trade’n. |
